Meetings

WHEN & WHERE WE MEET:

Meetings are held at a location determined by the Board and accessible to the majority of members on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M., unless otherwise announced.  There is no August meeting.

Refreshments are served.

MEMBERSHIP BUSINESS:

Business of the association will be conducted at each meeting prior to the planned program or guest lecturer or other art activity.

SPEAKERS & PROGRAMS:

The highlight of the meeting is usually a presentation by a featured artist.

Member artists will be given the opportunity to share their work, expertise, and talent through lecture and demonstration.  Artists of known reputation aside from the association will also be engaged to lecture and demonstrate.

The association encourages members to exhibit their work, completed or in progress during the course of regular meetings for informal critique.  No artists work will be critiqued unless the artist requests it.

ADMISSION:

General meetings are free of charge for members.   Interested persons may attend one meeting for free, $5/visit thereafter (limit of 2), or join for free attendance and full benefits.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

En Plein Air activities, an annual art show, museum trips and work shop lab fees may be charged  for in accordance to expenses incurred and for the basic financial needs of the association.

GOALS:

The association will strive to have a members’ art show annually and to engage in en plein air outings, museum trips, artist demonstrations, art work critique in celebration of visual arts.
